At the AAS College we have experience of welcoming foreign students and we are here to help you in every step of the way. We know that you will have a lot of questions before you leave home and this information has been prepared to help answer as many of your questions as possible. Our staff is here for you, providing Integrated Holistic Student Services, from your educational journey even before your arrival to long after graduation in a career path that will be fulfilling for you.

We recognize that when you join us it may be the first time you have lived away from home, so we do our best to support you. Our accommodation staff will help you to find the right place to live that suits your needs. We can advice you for a lot of flats in purpose-build properties that are very close to the college and all around the city.
In all type of flats you will have your own furnished study bedroom. There are flats where you have your own kitchen and flats that have a shared kitchen and dining area. Prices are around 300-450 Euros/month all included.
Our staff researches all options for our students, always furnished, from student studio buildings by big companies to small apartments or family houses from individuals that just have the property for rent. In Greece utility costs (electricity, water, heating, Wi-Fi etc.) are paid extra most of the times, but we find and sort out options that accept ALL in ONE rent price, so the students will have less paperwork, less cost and of course a more comfortable and better living experience.
Accommodation is one of the most important matters to solve and we understand that. That is why we recommend student studio buildings, where all residents are students from around the world and feels like dorms. Safety both in practice but also in feeling is better in those occasions; price is always ALL INCLUDED, with Wi-Fi, gym, laundry etc. – services you don’t find often in the real estate reality of Greece. Finally that type of accommodation because is from companies, accept booking the place before arrival so no extra money is spend in Hotels while searching for an apartment after your arrival. You can go directly at your arrival from the airport to your accommodation place!
Additionally to our services in helping you find the proper accommodation for you, we offer a free ride from the airport to the destination of your choice (accommodation place or hotel, hostel etc.), as a first warm welcome action from your journey!
The student accommodation staff will assist all international students in seeking the accommodation of their choice, giving legal tenancy agreement advice and all other queries or concerns regarding student accommodation in Thessaloniki.

Please remember that you will have to carry your luggage during your journey here, so do not pack more than you can carry by yourself. On the other hand Thessaloniki has an extensive range of shops supplying food from all over the world and clothes and other good to suit all tastes, so there is no need to bring too much baggage.
Hand luggage
You should carry the following items in your hand luggage:
- Your passport and Visa card (leave a photocopy of them with your family/friends at home)
- Contact names and telephone numbers for AAS College
- Original academic certificates and transcripts
- Tuition fee receipt
- Copy of bank transfer document
- Euros currency (do not put money in your suitcase)
- Any medication you need during your journey, having first checked that it can be taken in your hand luggage

It can be challenging to search for a job internationally and in foreign countries as well as intimidating to compete with other candidates for a job opportunity.
Our staff after years of experience understands that the solution for a fast and quality start of your career, there are many factors involved. First stage is a well-written, quality and full CV. Second is practice and experience in Interviews. Finally is a good strategy before the start of the hunt, in order to search according to your goals, and have results.
AAS College Career office collaborates with multiple job portals and job search platforms that are active and post job offers from all over Europe with emphasis in UK and Greece. We encourage and guide students to look broadly at all the career opportunities while helping them regarding the application and interview process.
With live and online seminars, one-on-one counseling and mentoring, digital means and specialized software in collaboration with those portals, we guide step by step our students to create a quality and appealing CV.
In addition of couching and advice in preparing a professional CV, we organize a variety of Interview events, career-related seminars and workshops, guest lectures, company visits, student competitions and many more so our students gain the experience that upon graduation will make the difference in a job interview.
